Field trial for digital freight documents
As part of Living Lab 12 (digitalisation of freight documents), the German association of freight transport, logistics and waste management (BGL) is participating in an EU-wide Aeolix field trial for the deployment of electronic freight documents in roadfreight transport.
Participating carriers can enter data that is relevant to the transport on the Aeolix platform during the test phase, in order to receive information about the transported goods.
When the project ends in August 2019, the Aeolix platform should prove that the new ways to improve supply chain transparency and interoperability are both feasible and functional. (ben)
