Fiege working on its Asian footprint
Fiege Group has acquired 100 % of the shares of World Fashion Logistics (WFL) and incorporated it into the group’s contract logistics business in Asia.
WFL provides logistics services for e-commerce, retail, fashion and luxury brands in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Turkey. The central logistics hub is in Shanghai. The company was founded in 2005 by Gianmaria Beretti, who remains on board as managing director Far East at Fiege.
Alfred Messink, member of the executive board of the Fiege Group, said that the first contact with WFL had already been established in 2015: "We are very happy that the acquisition of WFL has now worked out. It is a strategic complement to our business in the Far East, where we are now increasingly focusing on fashion and e-commerce in addition to industrial and consumer goods." (sh)
