Felbermayr expands portfolio
With its crane rental and heavy-duty transport services, Felbermayr has long been a reliable partner in the heavy-lifting sector. Last October, the company launched its "engineered solutions" division, led by Kees Kompier.
With this new product, the Dutch national has set himself the task to expand the company's portfolio, in the area of statics, for example. Kompier argues that it is time to move away from classic by-the–book applications and tap into the potentials offered by "Felbermayr's first class equipment".
To support his argument, the heavy-lift expert with worldwide experience states the company's recent assignment in Bratislava (Slovakia), where it successfully inserted a 2,400 t bridge support structure. (sh)
