Extending and diversifying transport routes
Metrans is launching a new regular service that will connect the Polish Port of Gdansk with Ostrava, North Moravia, one of Czechia’s major industrial agglomerations. The new train will expand the carrier’s activities in Poland and open upon up another major transport corridor.
The Ostrava container terminal will become a gateway to the entire Metrans network and the entire CEE area. The new service will include trains with a length of 750 m instead of the usual 650 m and trains with a carrying capacity of up to an incredible 112 teu. The new offer will be launched at the beginning of September this year, Metrans said. (ben)
