Expanding pharma logistics in Germany
Goslar (Gemany)-based logistics provider Med-X-Press is expanding its portfolio into pharma logistics by becoming a shareholder of Eurotranspharma Deutschland, a newly founded cold chain transport network. The new collaboration will help Med-X-Press respond to a growing demand for integrated transport solutions in the German market and meet its customers’ needs.
The company can now provide cold chain logistics services between 2°C and 8°C for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods. It will also add more trucks to its fleet. All its vehicles have a two-chamber cooling system to enable the transport of goods across climate zones.
Med-X-Press will benefit from the collaboration with the other shareholders of Eurotranspharma Deutschland, specifically with the Walden Group, and thus strengthen its healthcare logistics capacities in Germany. (mk)
