Cargo-Partner is growing closer to its American-based customers, in a year where the wider business is celebrating its special jubilee.
Founded in 1983 as an air freight specialist in Vienna, Austria, Cargo-Partner is now a global transport and logistics provider with 4,000 employees in 40 countries and is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
Today, the company offers air, sea, rail, road transport and warehousing services from over 160 offices globally. In USA, Cargo Partner has been operational for over 20 years, having founded its first office in New York in 2001.
The US team consists of 100 logistics experts, based in four key offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Clarksville. As well as providing core product services in all transport modes, the USA operations also include customs clearance expertise and comprehensive storage and distribution facilities.
The two Cargo-Partner warehouses in Chicago and Clarksville provide dedicated areas for pallet racking, general order picking/packing and short to long-term storage, across a combined 2,787 sqm of space. (ben)
