Ethiopian: new flights to JFK and more services to Istanbul
Starting today, 17 June 2019, Ethiopian Airlines operates a thrice-weekly service between Addis Abeba (Ethiopia), Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and New York JFK (USA). With the addition of the new flights to the existing four-weekly service to Newark via Lomé (Togo), the Star Alliance member will provide connections to New York every day.
With new services to and from JFK, Ethiopian will be offering 24 weekly flights between African and North America. The new service comes just two days after the carrier doubled the weekly frequency of its recently launched flights to Istanbul. Effective 15 June, Ethiopian flies to the Turkish economic powerhouse six times per week. (ah)
