Enhancing inland coverage of Nigeria
In addition to the current intermodal network serving its locations in Nigeria, CMA CGM is now introducing a new land transport project through the Nigerian port of Lekki.
Scheduled to open at Lekki in May 2023, this new corridor will provide the following opportunities: land transport solutions for cargo from/to Asia, Bangladesh, the east coast of India to/from more inland destinations via Lekki, particularly in Greater Lagos.
Furthermore, the service will connect the major cities in a 100 km radius around Lekki in one day, Kaduna in twelve days and Kano door-door delivery in 14 days. (ben)
