Emons acquires LDB stake
Emons has reported it has acquired a strategic stake in the LDB group, effective retroactively from 1 January.
The Baden-based German logistics provider comprises LDB Logistik and LDB Transport and employs around 100 people. Managing director Torsten Fellmoser remains in charge of operations. LDB operates sites in Bühl and Rastatt and focuses on five core areas, namely warehouse logistics, hazardous goods logistics, contract packaging, shop logistics and transport. Its transport fleet includes 30 vehicles, including one eActros 300.
The company recently expanded its hazardous materials warehouse in Bühl to 8,100 pallet spaces and equipped it with updated fire protection. Emons CEO Ralf Wieland (pictured right) and LDB’s managing director Torsten Fellmoser (pictured left) have confirmed that the cooperation will continue under joint direction, aiming to leverage synergies.
