Emirates adding Narita to freighter network

One month from today, on 24 May 2025, Emirates SkyCargo will take off with a dedicated weekly freighter service from Dubai World Central Airport (DWC) to Narita International Airport (NRT), marking the first direct and scheduled cargo link between the airport in Tokyo and the Middle East.

This is the Dubai-based carrier’s third freighter route to Japan, where it already serves Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Osaka Kansai (KIX), raising total capacity to 300 t per week. The new service supports fast, flexible shipments of automotive and machinery parts, semiconductors and pharmaceuticals.

The flights will complement bellyhold capacity on Emirates’ daily Narita flights and strengthen Japan–Middle East trade flows. With 57 weekly freighter flights to East and Southeast Asia, Emirates continues to invest in one of its busiest cargo regions. Further routes to Cambodia, Vietnam and China are also in the pipeline.
