Elisabeth Castro Gomez to manage Logcoop's office in Spain
Logcoop is expanding its internationalisation strategy and has appointed Elisabet Castro Gomez to supervise the growth of its network on the Iberian Peninsula. The daughter of Spanish parents speaks five languages fluently and has lived in Spain and Italy for several years.
During the last three months she has acquired 14 new members, eight of which are based in Spain. The aim is to extend Logcoop’s network in this country and open a subsidiary in Alicante on 1 January 2020. Alicante is in a strategically favourable location: “All the country’s major logistics sites are no more than 500 km away,” says Logcoop CEO Marc Possekel.
Castro Gomez will head Logcoop’s Spanish office. She described her new role as follows: “I’m fully committed to driving Logcoop’s growth and I have found a new professional challenge here.” (mw)
