Eight cold storage facilities for Lineage
Lineage Logistics, active in temperature-controlled industrial REITs, has announced the acquisition of eight facilities from Burris Logistics, a temperature-controlled food distribution company.
The transaction is Lineage’s third proprietary deal with Burris. The addition of these cold-storage facilities to Lineage’s warehousing network will provide nearly 121,000 sqm of capacity and approximately 115,000 pallet positions in USA.
The Burris facilities are located in Eastern and Midwestern USA, near major highways and transport hubs, and will serve densely populated markets in all 50 states.
Lineage’s team has 14 years of e-commerce and fulfilment experience, with more than 100 customers in eight locations. The acquisition of these facilities will bolster Lineage’s direct-to-consumer solutions. (mk)
