Efficient logistics in Central Germany
Around 140 members are working together in the Logistik Mitteldeutschland network to further develop their industry. The European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA) carried out a profound analysis of the management and processes of this cooperation as well as its performance and innovative strength.
As a result, the network – photo: branch manager Klaus-Dieter Bugiel – was awarded the silver label of the European cluster excellence initiative, since it was able to prove that it is one of Germany's most efficient industry clusters. There are only four more clusters in the country that meet the silver label's criteria. (amh)
