Dutch load unit provider supports PAX cargo use
In 2019, the Dutch company Trip & Co began developing the "Air Cargo Seat Bag" and "Cargo Seat Net" - solutions for cargo transportation in passenger aircraft cabin. They went on the market in the middle of the corona pandemic and offer a capacity of 89 kg per seat (up to 320 kg per seat row).
Trip's CEO Tijmen Koster: "There is no need to remove passenger seats, allowing for less conversion time before an aircraft can operate in its new role. Moreover, the retro-conversion to a passenger aircraft is minimal. On top of that, there is no need to source used and/or wrong-sized materials such as ill-fitting cardboard boxes, stretched straps etc." (ah)
