DSV opens general cargo hub in Hamburg
DSV is expanding its portfolio: the logistics service provider inaugurated a 6,800 sqm location in Hamburg yesterday (2 March 2023). The depot, which is close to the port and the motorway, adds domestic and international general cargo shipments to the range of cargo transport options in the area.
The hub also expands DSV's Air & Sea and Solutions locations in Hamburg and augments the road haulage business.
In addition to the transhipment hall for general cargo, DSV Solutions runs a logistics warehouse on the same site, which serves as a cargo handling area, bonded warehouse, distribution centre or storage, providing individual services for customers and industries. DSV adds that the site also offers special storage facilities for products with lithium-ion batteries. (ben)
