DSV donates transport equipment to Ukraine

Over a year after the Russian invasion, the war in Ukraine has created a need for a range of supplies and equipment to aid the country and its armed forces. To help meet this need and show its support for Ukraine, the global transport and logistics company DSV has donated DKK 3.5 million (EUR 470,000) worth of transport equipment to Ukraine’s armed forces.

The donation includes buses, trucks, and trailers, as well as additional transport equipment, and the first delivery arrived in Ukraine on 31 May. DSV expects to have delivered all assets and equipment by mid-June.

The transport assets will be a valuable addition to the country’s armed services and support the mobilisation of troops and the movement of supplies.

After the invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, DSV was among the first Danish companies to exit Russia. In Ukraine, DSV resumed its operations in May 2022 after a temporary suspension of its business activities and has since been operating at full capacity in the country, where transport and logistics are crucial to ensuring access to essential goods.
