Dokasch TS expands US operations
Dokasch Temperature Solutions, a specialist for temperature-controlled active packaging solutions, has appointed Rory Ward as the new business development manager for the Midwest Region in the USA. Ward brings over a decade of experience in the logistics industry. His most recent position was operations & sales manager at Airport Logistic Services Group.
The pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, particularly in the Midwest region, are experiencing significant growth. Illinois aims to enhance its reputation as a key hub for biomedical research, with Chicago leading the initiative due to its dense concentration of biotech and pharma firms.
Contributing to this dynamic growth is Chicago O'Hare Airport, which handled approximately 2.2 million t of cargo in 2022, making it a pivotal cargo hub in the United States. (cj)
