Dipping into logistics
Jarrolds & Sons was founded in Suffolk in 1770 before moving to Norwich, where its department store is still based.
Having expanded its business portfolio from retail to property, training, marketing and business services, Jarrolds joined APC’s UK network in November 2023. As Jarrolds Logistics, it now cooperates with APC in the retail logistics and e-commerce sectors to boost its logistics capacities and expertise.
By investing in e-commerce, warehousing and fulfilment solutions, the company seeks to strengthen its supply chains as well as support local SMEs in and around Norfolk. After acquiring the local provider RDM Distribution, Jarrolds will be working with APC to expand its reach in the UK logistics market and complement the companies’ networks. (mk)
