Dimerco’s restructure strategy
Global freight transportation specialist Dimerco has begun to roll out phase two of its organisational restructure. The aim is to develop business intelligence technology and applications to support the air freight, ocean freight and contract logistics business units and promote growth, optimise services and increase operational and management efficiency.
Initiating the programme 1 October 2019, Dimerco Express Group set up an executive management board, led by Jeffrey Shih. By creating a less hierarchical structure with a focus on managerial specialisation, team leadership and intelligent applications, phase two aims to drive “quicker response, greater flexibility, and business resilience in the face of increasingly challenging and disruptive supply chains”.
