Digital forwarder gains ground
Sennder, a German-based provider of digital solutions for road freight forwarders, will merge with French freight tech company Everoad.
The aim of this strategic alliance is build Europe’s largest digital road freight forwarding platform to facilitate the relationship between shippers and carriers, Sennder said. The proprietary technology connects large companies with small trucking firms and will ultimately improve the image of freight logistics by reducing its environmental impact.
With offices across six countries, the providers of digital logistics and transportation services complete over 35,000 loads per month. The two companies aim to achieve revenues of EUR 1 billion by 2024. (ben)
