DHL Global Forwarding to reshuffle team in Europe
Effective 1 July, Markus Panhauser will assume his new role as CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Germany and Switzerland, with a dual responsibility for both country organisations.
Panhauser succeeds Tobias Schmidt, who has successfully led both country organisations in addition to his position as CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Europe since November 2021. Barbara Eleota will replace Panhauser as head of ocean freight DHL Global Forwarding Europe.
Panhauser joined the group in 2020 as head of ocean freight DHL Global Forwarding Europe after gaining extensive experience in the forwarding business at various global logistics providers. Over the past three years, he has helped to substantially improve the company’s performance in the ocean freight segment, leading to a significant increase in profitability. (cj)
