Deugro completes management buyout in Russia
Deugro signed an agreement on 5 September 2022 to sell its business in Russia to its former local management, as part of a management buyout. This concludes Deugro’s intent of divesting its interests in Russia since the advent of the war and subsequently winding down its activities. The transaction has now been closed and officially registered.Deugro is a specialised project freight forwarder with a strong focus on turnkey logistics solutions for various industries. The company was founded in Frankfurt (Germany) in 1924, and is a family-owned enterprise now run by the third generation. Today, Deugro is an independent company of the Deugro group, with a network of more than 70 company-owned offices in over 40 countries. (cj)
