Dakosy celebrates 40th anniversary
Dakosy, Hamburg's first start-up to specialise in digitalisation, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Supported by the port industry, the company was founded in 1982. With numerous IT platforms, Dakosy is now an established and neutrally recognised digitaliser for logistics far beyond Hamburg’s city limits.
In Hamburg’s seaport, more than 2,500 companies from the port economy, logistics, industry and trade, as well as various authorities, are now connected to Dakosy's port community system.
At Frankfurt Airport, the cargo community platform Fair@link, which has been operating there since 2015, has over 700 participants.
Dakosy’s portfolio also includes smart solutions for customs handling and forwarding, which are used by over 2,000 freight forwarders, industrial and trading companies in Europe. (cj)
