Daco Systems to open IT competence centre
Founded in 1992, Daco Systems a software developer for the management of logistics processes. It is headquartered in Birsfelden near Basel (Switzerland).
On 1 November 2023, the company is going to open a new IT competence centre in Tägerwilen in eastern Switzerland, creating five jobs and focusing on truck companies for general cargo and freight transport.
Managing director Daniel Wartenweiler: "We have identified a high need for support for existing logistics applications and IT systems.”
At the same time, Daco Systems is adapting the "road transport" module from its own "Fast Logistics" product series to the future needs of the industry. The aim is to digitalise all order processes. The provider has formed a project group with transport companies to this effect. (cj)
