Dachser sets up shop in Sweden
After Denmark and Finland, Sweden has become the next Nordic market to be dorectly covered by Dachser Air & Sea Logistics. The company now operates an office for air and sea freight in Gothenburg.
Jochen Müller, Dachser's COO, air & sea logistics, is in charge of the network's new extension. The service portfolio comprises all global air, sea, and rail services, as well as customs clearance and warehousing.
Dachser has eight employees at the new location in Gothenburg, and plans to extend the team to 20 people for air and sea freight in the long run. Gothenburg is the second-largest city in Sweden and has the largest export port in northern Europe.
Last year, Dachser air & sea logistics opened a branch office in Kolding (Denmark), adding to its existing offices in Copenhagen and Kolding. The service provider has offices in Helsinki and three further locations in Finland. (kd)
