Dachser promotes a foodstuffs logistician
On 1 January Stefan Behrendt (on the right) took charge of Dachser Food Logistics. He succeeded the firm’s COO for road logistics Alexander Tonn (on the left), who had also held the post of managing director for food logistics since 1 January 2024.
Stefan Behrendt has been with Dachser since 2015. As head of the Niederrhein logistics centre in Neuss he initially expanded activities transporting and storing food.
In October 2023 he moved to corporate headquarters in Kempten im Allgäu. Behrendt started his logistics career at DHL Freight, before he held international leadership and branch manager positions for several years in the Nagel Group, another foodstuffs logistician. (cj)
