Dachser growing in Finland
The logistician will start operating a new logistics centre in Pirkkala, in the south of the country, in the summer of 2024. The new facility for handling general cargo is located at Tampere-Pirkkala Airport and will cover an area of around 5,000 sqm. It also includes an expansion area of around 10,000 sqm.
With the new facility, Dachser is enhancing its activities in Finland by offering companies in the region access to its European overland transport network. The new logistics centre will serve as a hub for Dachser in Finland.
The logistics provider has been active in the country since 2014 and is already represented with a logistics centre in Kerava in the Helsinki metropolitan area, which opened in 2019. In Vantaa, Lahti and Tampere, Dachser also runs offices specialising in air and sea freight. (ben)
