Dachser: Andreas Fritsch to head German business
Dachser has appointed Frankfurt-born Andreas Fritsch as managing director European logistics Germany. As from 1 January 2023, Fritsch will lead and expand the company’s portfolio of transport and storage services for industrial goods in the German market.
Currently general manager (branch manager) of the logistics centre Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Bad Salzuflen near Bielefeld, Fritsch will take over his new responsibilities from COO Road Logistics Alexander Tonn.
After completing his vocational training as a forwarding agent and taking the first steps in his carrer, Fritsch moved to Bielefeld as branch manager in 1989. Since then, he has developed the location into one of the largest and most successful in Dachser’s European network.
In recent years, Fritsch also managed the development of the branch in Kassel, which was added to Dachser's German network in 2021. (cj)
