CSAL to partner WebCargo
China Southern Air Logistics (CSAL), the cargo arm of China Southern Airlines, has entered into a partnership with WebCargo, a leading digital booking and payments platform, to offer forwarders real-time rates, capacity, and e-booking options.
Shipments originating in China represent one of the largest segments of the global air cargo trade, accounting for 7.3 million t of the world’s 65.7 million t. Freight forwarders around the world, including 3,500 forwarders in more than 10,000 offices that already use WebCargo, will gain direct access to China Southern’s leading coverage in the key region.
These forwarders will also benefit from WebCargo’s combination of real-time booking with digital payments, helping forwarders quickly begin booking and reconciling payments with CSAL, as well as other carriers. (cj)
