Cool control in Abu Dhabi
Jettainer has named Steffen Fessler as the head of cool ULD, overseeing its ‘cool&fly’ management service. The solution provides airlines with full cool ULD order management, reducing risks and costs. Jettainer handles around 12,000 cool ULDs annually.
Fessler previously managed air cargo IT projects at ‘Lufthansa Industry Solutions’ and led logistics at Puren. He holds a master in global management and governance.
“With his IT and logistics expertise, Steffen is the ideal candidate to drive our cool ULD services forward,” said Dr Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer.
Jettainer’s ‘cool&fly’ offers a one-stop service, handling leasing, positioning and monitoring. Its 24/7 temperature control excellence centre in Abu Dhabi (UAE) aims to provide smooth operations. Fessler will lead its expansion, enhancing technology and processes. (ah)
