COO welcomed back at HLT
Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT),a provider of cargo management ecosystems to the air cargo industry, has welcomed back Simon Elmore as chief operations officer (COO). Elmore has returned after a two-year absence during which he worked as a consultant on aviation and e-commerce projects.
With nearly 25 years' experience in the aviation industry, he was one of the team to design, build and deliver the original Hermes CM, now called Hermes 5.
The company launched a project in November 2020 with researchers at the IT University in Copenhagen, Denmark to explore new machine learning models.
Elmore will now be part of the team looking at products which can be developed using HLT’s online event-based Datalake infrastructure. (amh)
