Contract logistics for textile producer
DHL Supply Chain has signed a five year contract with the Seidensticker Group, a family-run company based in Bielefeld (Germany). Seidensticker has been one of Europe’s most renowned shirt and blouse manufacturers for almost a century.
The group is currently represented in 70 countries across the world, and has its own production facilities in Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as its own procurement company and material sourcing agency.
DHL Supply Chain will gradually integrate the logistics for Seidensticker's post-order, e-commerce and never-out-of-stock (NOS) businesses into the DHL multi-user facility in Monchengladbach by the end of October. Around 6,000 sqm will be initially allocated to the business which offers the potential for further growth. (mw)
