Contract awarded for 100 daily deliveries across UK
In UK, Wincanton has won a three-year contract with health, beauty and household brand distributor DCS Group, involving nationwide transport, delivery and management of inter-site transfers of finished goods and stock.
Making around 100 deliveries per day, Wincanton will carry goods from DCS’s Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon facilities to over 600 customer sites across the country.
DCS will benefit from Wincanton’s commitment to up-to-date technology for its fleet, with in-cab telematics and GPS track-and-trace software. DCS manufactures toiletries for major retailers including Aldi, Lidl and Wilko. (ben)
