Connie Award for maritime industry leader
The Containerization and Intermodal Institute (CII), a not-for-profit association committed to promoting and supporting the business of international trade and transportation and educating its future leaders, is honouring Brenda Martin, former vice president of terminal services (retired) for Husky Terminal and Stevedoring at the Port of Tacoma, with the 2023 lifetime achievement award.
The award is presented to individuals or organisations who have played a long-standing, significant and supporting role in the industry.
Martin will be honoured at CII’s Connie Awards dinner at the Renaissance Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, CA, on 13 September 2023. Robert Sappio, CEO of Seacube Containers, will be presented with the Connie Award that evening. (cj)
