Connecting the Med and Latin America


After having reshuffled its regional loops, Hapag-Lloyd is launching its new service for connecting the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Central America and the West Coast South America Express (MSW), starting in early May 2022.

 

The main focus is on the direct connection between the Western Mediterranean and the West Coast of South America. Six vessels will be deployed, with reefer cargo capacities for cool chain exports from Ecuador, Peru, Chile and other destinations in the Caribbean and Central America.

 

Hapag-Lloyd has announced the following rotation for the first departures: Valencia - Livorno - Genoa - Barcelona - Caucedo - Cartagena - Paita - Posorja - Buenaventura - Puerto Limon (Moin) - Cartagena - Tangier - Malaga - Valencia. (sh)
