Cold chain industrial park opens in Qingbaijiang
The recently completed ESR Chengdu Qingbaijiang Cold Chain Industrial Park in Sichuan, southwest China, comprises a multi-faceted cold storage facility with a total GFA of more than 113,000 sqm. It is ESR’s first in-built cold storage facility in China.
Located in a major transport hub of the Belt and Road network, the park is designed to feature both single and multiple-storey cold storage facilities to meet diverse customer needs.
The single-storey cold storage facility has a maximum net height of 8 m, offering flexible stacking storage and shelf storage solutions.
With two loading and unloading yards, and two independent halls in the north and south, the industrial park will offer a high throughput capacity for ingoing and outgoing cargo. Double-sided loading and unloading will be available at most warehouses, allowing for flexible truck operation. The park also includes a 7,000 sqm integrated building, ESR said. (ben)
