CNC launches Bay Bengal Express
CNC, CMA CGM's sole Intra-Asia short sea operator since 2019, is introducing the Bay Bengal Express 6 (BBX6) service, connecting ports in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam, and China.
Described as a direct link from Ho Chi Minh to Port Klang and Chittagong, it establishes a fresh service between North China and Bangladesh, facilitating trade between the two nations.
Additionally, BBX6 provides an alternative for shipping goods from Vietnam to China, with Shanghai and Port Klang serving as transhipment hubs. Starting on August 22 from Qingdao, the route covers Qingdao, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Port Klang, Chittagong, Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh City, Xiamen, and returns to Qingdao. (pb)
