CMA CGM starts "NC Levant"
France-based CMA CGM is launching its new offering "NC Levant". Starting next Monday, 10 July 2023, in Salerno (Italy), the service is intended to improve reliability and performance on the following rotation: Felixstowe (Great Britain), Hamburg (Germany), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium), Le Havre (France), Malta, Alexandria and Port Said West (Egypt), Beirut (Lebanon), Iskenderun and Mersin (Turkey), Salerno, Tanger Med (Morocco), and again Felixstowe.
The first vessel, "CMA CGM Alcazar", belonging to a fleet of six 4,420 teu vessels operating at a weekly frequency, will have a 42-day rotation.
The addition of the call in Salerno will give new markets and business projects in Southern Italy a direct link to Northern Europe. (lh)
