Clipper Group chooses CEO
Effective 1 October, Amrit Peter Kalsi is the new CEO of Clipper Group and CEO for Clipper Bulk, succeeding Peter Norborg, who is leaving the group.
Kalsi has worked in shipping since 1994 and joined Clipper in 2011. Since then he has moved from vice president to senior vice president and from group COO to head of chartering and operations. He has gained a profound knowledge of the company and its operations.
Clipper is a family-owned shipping group specialising in global dry bulk shipping via Clipper bulk and ro-ro services on the Irish Sea via Seatruck Ferries.
Kalsi: "Benefiting from our cost-effective business platforms, we will pursue growth opportunities in dry bulk for both the pools, the chartered fleet, and owned vessels. At the same time, we will continue to develop the group’s ro-ro activities." (amh)
