CJ Logistics is on the move
Seoul-based CJ Logistics has reported its results for Q2/2022. The South Korean company achieved revenues of KRW 3.1 trillion (USD 2.3 billion), up 14.2% compared to the same period last year, while the operating profit rose by 28.2% to KRW 116.1 billion (USD 86 million).
CEP benefited from the boom in parcel and e-commerce business. In this segment, parcel revenue and operating profit rose by 6.7% and 8.8% in Q2/2022.
CJ Logistics commented that these achievements were due to increases in fulfilment volumes and an expanding customer base. In contract logistics, revenues and operating profits soared by 1.7% and 7.9%, respectively. (sh)
