CIFFA names new director
The Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association has appointed Joel MacKay, president and owner of North American 3PL Mactrans Logistics, as new director.
MacKay brings thirty years of experience in the Canadian transportation industry, starting on the loading dock for Speedy Transport, and holding sales positions at CCX (now XPO) and Livingston. In 2006 he founded Concord Logistics Solutions with a partner.
Three years later, in 200,9 MacKAy set up another company, Mactrans, with a group of three people. Today, Mactrans has over thirty associates with offices in Toronto, Montreal and Moncton, and is a member of the SmartWay Transportation programme and the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA).
