Christian Biesecke joins Vacad board
Christian Biesecke has been elected as treasurer and new member of the board of Vacad, the German association of air cargo handlers. The division manager for cargo and logistics at Port Ground replaces Stefanie Jelinek.
Biesecke’s appointment expands the board's expertise in express air freight, e-commerce and pharmaceutical handling. In addition to its branch in Dresden, Port Ground also offers cargo handling services at Leipzig/Halle Airport, which has been growing strongly over the last years.
Biesecke has been in his current position at Port Ground since 2018. A logistics manager by training, he brings experience from two German airports, Leipzig/Halle and Dresden, to Vacad. (cj)
