China - Thailand in five days
In China, the Qinghai international intermodal train with railway containers carried by Hong-Kong-based SITC successfully sailed from Chongqing railway central station to Thailand within five days.
According to the logistics company, this is the first launch of the Qinghai international intermodal train this year and a major achievement for contributing to the construction of the west-bound passage under the cooperation between CCI Eurasia Land Bridge Logistics Development, China Railway Container Express Line and SITC.
The launch also means that SITC has taken another step for inland intermodal services after the introduction of the railway containers overseas business in September last year. (ben)
