China opts for Vossloh’s rail fastening systems

The contract involves the construction of two high-speed lines in China. One will connect the megacity of Xining with the metropolis of Chengdu in western China. The second line will run between Lanzhou and Hezuo in Gansu province in the northwest of the country. Vossloh will be responsible for the execution of the order. Deliveries are scheduled from 2025.

China now has a high-speed rail network of just over 43,000 km and plans to expand it to over 70,000 km by 2035. Vossloh’s Chinese subsidiary has around 130 employees and supplies rail fastening systems, particularly for applications on high-speed lines. (ben)
