China and Serbia strengthen trade ties
The state-owned company Zhengzhou International Hub (ZIH) has launched a railfreight service to Serbia. The China Railway Express (CRE) train left Zengzhou in the Province Henan (Central China) last Friday (26 April 2024) and is now en route to Belgrade via Mongolia and Kazakhstan.
The cargo includes frequency changers, starter cabinets for fans, semiconductor modules, air compressors, dead axles and spare parts for off-highway dump trucks and cables. The new service expands the coverage of CRE’s freight trains and further strengthens trade ties between Henan and Europe, ZIH said. (ben)
