Changing of the guard at Time Matters
Bernhard zur Strassen took over as new managing director and CEO of Time Matters on 1 November 2023. He succeeds Alexander Kohnen, who left the company at his own request in April 2023. Zur Strassen was most recently chief revenue officer at the software company Shipsta.
Zur Strassen began his career in the logistics industry at Luftansa Cargo before moving to the logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel, where he held various international roles with stations in Switzerland, England and Luxembourg.
Subsequently, zur Strassen first managed the global transport network, and then the logistics and supply chain segments for a global supplier to the automotive industry.
Time Matters, founded in 2002, is a provider of time-critical emergency transport and supply chain solutions. It was acquired by Lufthansa Cargo in August 2016. (cj)
