Changes at Chep
Chep has appointed Xavier Garijo to the newly created CEO Americas position, following the announcement that Chep North America’s president, Laura Nador, stepped down on 31 December 2023. Before joining Chep, Garijo was a member of the global executive board for contract logistics at DB Schenker.
Chep Benelux has appointed Boris Lohmüller as its new country general manager. With a broad background in retail and consumer goods, he has held various commercial leadership positions within Chep Germany over the past 15 years, most recently as commercial director of the company’s German sales strategy.
Philipp Schlömer will replace him in this role. Since joining in 2014, Schlömer has held various supply chain and commercial roles, including country lead, Switzerland. His most recent position was senior manager, supply chain, Central Europe. (cj)
