Change in the cockpit of Austrian Airlines
On 15 August 203, Barbara Schwarzott will take over as senior director ground & cargo operations Austrian & nominated person ground operations.
Her new role includes the management of Austrian Airlines ground services with a team of around 650 employees worldwide. Schwarzott succeeds Susanne Svejda, who is moving to Wiener Linien as operations manager.
A graduate in international business administration, Schwarzott started her career with Austrian Airlines in 1996 as part of a trainee programme. From 1998, she held various management positions in sales and controlling, and from 2016 in a group-wide function for the Lufthansa Group. Schwarzott moved to Human Resources in 2018. (cj)
