CCFC modernising production sites
CCFC, part of the Modalis Group, has announced the expansion of its operations with a EUR 4 million industrial modernisation plan and new strategic appointments.
Based in Lallio (Italy), CCFC manufactures intermodal transport units and container chassis. Since its acquisition by Modalis in 2023, CCFC has recorded strong growth and attained a turnover of almost EUR 18 million in 2024.
Innovations include lightweight swap bodies and specialised transport solutions. Facility upgrades include water-based painting systems, robotic welding and reorganised production lines, aiming to double production volume. “We’re proud of the results we’ve already achieved,” said Modalis chairman Bernard Mei. CCFC targets EUR 30 million turnover by 2028. (js)
