Cartwright Brothers: more double deck trailers
With the additions to its fleet, the UK haulier aims to reduce its environmental impact by expanding its pallet network services.
Cartwright Brothers has taken delivery of three new double-deck trailers. The Pall-Ex/Fortec member provides a distribution service to customers in eastern England. The new trailers will each have the capacity to carry to 52 pallets, meaning the business will be able to input over 150 additional pallets per night. The latest fleet additions will be the first of many over the coming months and years.
Pallet networks offers a sustainable way to send smaller consignments and single pallets. It is estimated that pallet networks take an average of 800 vehicles off UK roads each day. (ben)
